Celebrate Mom and Much More!

Hi Everyone! The Fibre Studio at Yarns to Dye For has much to celebrate, and we want you to be a part of the celebration!

Enjoy a 20% Off Mother’s Day Discount on us! Use LUVMOM17 at checkout! This offer is good on our regularly-priced hand-dyed yarns and kits and expires at end of day May 15, 2017.

We’ve “rebooted” our online shop to display even more products and color ways. We think the new eShop is bright and fresh and will enable us to grow along with our fiber community’s needs.

Visit the new shop here.

We have identified our next KAL project–Sunshine Coast. This lovely pullover, by designer Heidi Kirrmaier, is quite simple in appearance, but comes with a few little design details that make it special. The A-line body shape is flattering on many body types. It is intended to fit with ½ to 3 inches of ease at the bust.

Knit entirely seamlessly from the top down, it is also quite easy to execute. The side details are formed through basic increases and decreases.

The gauge as written is suitable for a heavy DK or light worsted yarn, however, The Fibre Studio is turning this sweater into a four-season garment by knitting it loosely in a fingering-weight yarn. It is a great project for Merino Bamboo – Fingering, Cotton Bamboo – Fingering, or for those who are sticklers for following patterns, Cotton Bamboo – Worsted. Order your yarn today–take advantage of the sale–and it will be ready to pick up or mail by June 10–our World Wide Knit in Public Day Event where we kick off the KAL.

If you are part of the Joji Locatelli ewe crew, there’s still time to order your Starting Point Wrap MKAL Kit. This MKAL is HUGE, and makers worldwide are participating. Kits are available for pre-order now with options and details listed here.

So many options–so little time. However, it is the PERFECT time to stock up on a few special KAL projects with the 20% off sale. Leave the dust and prevent the rust…on your needles!

Happy stitching, y’all!

About fibrestudio

My name is Debbie Davis, and I opened The Fibre Studio at Yarns to Dye For on September 1, 2008 as my youngest child was heading off to college. I absolutely love being the proprietor of The Fibre Studio. My customers are great; we have fun classes & workshops; and where else can I bring my best friend, Lola, to work?
